So it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that I'm planning on attending Ewha. However, this will be a different beast than before. I have only attended two short term, three week courses. This will be the regular, 10 week course offered at night. It's only a few hours (7:00pm-9:10pm) but it's MWF which is nice. I need the structure and I need the classroom setting. I can't believe I'm starting class so early but looking at the other classes offered, this is too good of timing to pass up.
I'll be living near 신정네거리 on 2호선 and 이대 is only a half hour subway ride away. It's nice to live, work, and study close enough. Sure, it's not 신촌 but it could be worse...it could be 마포 or something...but all in all, it seems like there's no real room for complaints.
January is still in the air right now as far as plans, but I'll know something soon enough (read: not until the last moment probably. This is Korea). Until I know otherwise, I plan to visit Japan to see Ayumu, Rina, and all my Ewha friends in Osaka. I'm not super psyched to visit Japan like most foreigners probably are, but I would like to see my friends again and at least visit once.
I can't wait to start work, of course, but I really want to get back to studying. But, I must pledge to recopy all my notes from this past three-week course. I need to make sure that everything that I covered is still up in my noodle before I start learning new material. So, between enriching young Korean learners with my super fantastic perfect English, I'll find time to cram some more Korean into this sweet little country head of mine.
